Having worked on this, our latest violin with my maker, I can understand why this is so. We have not made this violin as any kind of bench copy, true in all aspects of appearance, but rather we focused on optimising every aspect of this violin as a vehicle for musical expression. I wrote elsewhere that this violin when I first heard it played, simpy made me smile. Body length 352mm String length 326mm
