Pavlo Beznosiuk's - 'Ole Bull' violin (seen on left) was made after one by Joseph Guarnerius 'del Gesù' of Cremona.

The back is in two pieces of maple whilst the belly is of fine-grained spruce. The scroll is of plain fine-grown maple.
